I recently bought a v9 ps2, have the latest swap magic discs and a flip-top on the way. I have already backed up a ton of games to my PC HD, and even burnt one. I use DVD decryptor to read then create a ISO image file & MDS, ( do I burn both files the ISO and MDS?) then nero to burn. My biggest fear is that I wont be able to play backups at all, I have read that with a V9 swap magic doesnt work? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have also read somewhere that you must patch games in order to play your backups online? Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks so much for any help or any comments

I too have a version 9 PS2. What is true, is SwapMagic CD Version 3.0 won't work on V9 or V10 PS2s. SwapMagic DVD 2.0 will. Now, there is a SwapMagic CD Version 3.2 (which I have) which works fine. If your disc can't boot CD games, you need to get a SwapMagic CD version 3.2.

About copying games, I just use Nero and CD copy. It works just fine.
