I just tried one of them and it's awful. Recording quality isn't too bad (much better than the DVDR75 I tried, but that could have been a bad machine) but the play back picture quality is terrible, with color imbalances and the menu and usability of the product is one of the worst I've ever seen.

The poor playback and menu means it's going back to the store as soon as I can get there!
