I have backed up many of my original dvds to my hard drive (VIDEO/AUDIO folders were created), now im wondering if there is a program to convert them all into single divx (or similar HQ file), so i can store them onto a portable hard drive which i can plug into a telly to watch when im not at home. Call me a newbie, just need some help please!

AutoGK can run off a batch of files.
Select VTS_01_0.IFO as the source;choose the output settings you want and add it to the queue.
Repeat for the next movie.
Single pass encoding is selected if you elect the Quality setting (75% is good).
AutoGk defaults to XviD - but if you have DivX installed on your system, it becomes available for selection.
