Hi guys, I used AnyDvd version 6.1.9.3 and Dvd Decrypter to rip the DVD. When I use the VOB Blanker version 2.1.3.0 (beta) to trim off all credits and junk, it says that "detected 58 cells with pointers mismatch between VTS_C_ADT and PGC_PBK tables......and VOB Blanker does not support them and have to skip them", at the end the trimmed file only contains 68MB of the movie, which I think is not the entire movie. So, is there a new version of Vob Blanker that will take care of this problem? Or is there another way to trim off the credits and junks by means of a different program? Please help!!

Thanks!

No, it doesn't work. I need a program like VOB Blanker that automatically detects and remove all the commercials, trailers, credits, and junk from the file. But Vob blanker is not doing the job anymore due to new encryption, hoping it can release an update soon.

Is there any other way to do so. Please advise!!

hey Ninja, i have had the same problem. I know of a few movies with ILU files and sometime you just have to keep the junk.

thats the root of your problem, your ripping the entire video, i dont use any of your software but check in the setting and preference area that you have ripp set only to the video

other wise-handbrake is free easy to use and with it you can rip just the movie it automatically cuts out that other junk enjoy!!!!

Thanks Tripplite but I do not believe the software is the problem. You see Live Hard Die Free has ILV/multiangles VTS's which I believe point right at the main VTS. I tried alot of programs including DVD-RB PRO. if one removes the "junk" from this movie with VOBblanker then the movie is placed back out of sequence for playback. the only solution i came up with is keep the "junk" and use the FF button on your remote.

Hey Ninja. I just tried PGCedit and it worked great. There is no new version of VOBblanker out there (as of yet). PGCedit worked great, got the movie and the menu only for LFDH. Good luck dude from one newbie to another. This is what i did. Ripped with DVDdecryter, edit with PGCedit and size it and encode with DVD-RB Pro and burn with Imgburn, or use Nero recode and nero burn.

Thanks for all the suggestions guys! Now this PGCedit, how easy is it to use? I don't know much in terms of changing codes and pointers and any sort of these things. That is the reason I used VoBBlanker because it does things automatically. So, if PGCedit is easy to use, I will definitely give it a go. Thank you!!

Hi, I'm old school and I use vob blanker 2.0.0.2 ( very manual, need to blank item by item manually, no auto). I get good results as I can preview all th pgcs and determine which ones to remove or not and which ones are fake. I know that this somewhat time consuming ( about 5 minutes ), but after vobb, shrink has no probs backing up my files.

VOBblanker is the way to go. This is the one I use but i have come across on some of my backups with these ILV files and VOBblanker does not support them. Ninja all I did was Google it and found a forum on how to use PGCedit. Yes PGCedit could be complicated but if you just want to blank the program chain (PGC) it works great. I tried it last night and made a backup of LFDH and right to the menu and then the movie, excellent.

you misunderstand me if you use handbrake it has the option to rip only the video and cut out credits, trailers, dvd menu's and commercials,
once again it free and will cut the "JUNK"

Ok i got ya. i want the menus though. I believe you can do that with dvd pro as well but i like the menus. just don't like the trailers and the warnings. i believe shrink will do it as well.
