I have a modded slimline PS2, and my chip tricks the reader into always thinking the disc cover is closed. Because of that, the disc continues spinning and I have no way of taking out my AR disc and inserting a game to be read with cheats. Is there any way around this without taking apart my PS2?

I want to say it's a duo3 but to be honest I'm not entirely sure. I bought it modded, so I never had to open it up or anything. And I really don't want to D:

So if you open the lid the disc is still spinning?

It seems what you fail to inform and what you do not know is what modchip you have and why it is a useless one that keeps your PS2 spinning when it should not.

I do not remember any chip that makes the disc tray think that it is closed. You will most likely have to take it apart and take pictures of the board. But before you open it can I see some pictures of area a and b of this picture

also the inside top area where the A point meet of the cover.
