Duo 3 Ultra V7 PS2 cant keep time + other WEIRD THINGS

Hi I Have just installed A Duo 3 Ultra On A PS2 V7 the system boot up to the menu but every time I turn it off then turn it back on, it wants me to set the initial time and system settings again. When I put a disc in the drive, the dvd drive sounds like it is working then it causes two LOUD clicks then reports a disc read error. Im not sure if this is related or not. In addition to this another weird thing is occurring. In the system menu, my ps2 memory card is not being detected anymore so I tried a ps1 memory card and it is being detected. I tried both slots and the same thing is happening on both slots.

If everything worked fine before you installed the Duo 3, then it has to be something when you installed, or when you put it back together.

You may have to take it apart again, and check all connections, etc.
