I want to know that if the usb advance will detect the sata hdd fitted with enclosure to one of the usb port of ps2 ??

if yes then plz. tell me which is better ide or sata for it? which is more faster & if the speed of this will be equal to normal dvd reading of ps2 or less ??

Plz.. help me out for this

I am not an expert but I will tell you what I know :-)

I cannot tell you whether it will work with your USB hard drive or not since I use a DMS4 mod chip

But I can answer the other question it does not matter if it is a IDE or
SATA drive , you are using a USB 1.0 it is not a USB 2.0

Which means the speed will suck!

However if you are good at soldering and your slim line is a version 11 or 12 you can install a regular hard drive, because they do not remove the hard points for the hard drive -- there are good guides out there on how to do it!

PS and you can use a SATA drive if you have those hard points and you
to make an IDE cable for it.

You can use this SATA Hard Drive to IDE (ATA-133/100) UDMA PATA Adapter , which I personally use -- http://www.cooldrives.com/sahadradtoid.html
