You can't just play backups using uLe, but you can use uLe to copy either Cogswap, esr r9b.elf (with esr you need to first patch the ISO image before you burn it) to play backups.

Why don't you just install fmcb 1.8 to your memory card.

http://bootleg.sksapps.com/tutorials/fmcb/noobie.html

Then patch the ISO images with esr disc patcher 2.4 - http://psx-scene.com/forums/showthread.php?t=58441

Short tutorial for games:

1. Put your original game in drive and make image of it.
2. Patch it.
3. Burn it.
4. Put it in your PS2 and launch ESR (direct DVD version).
5. That's it!

Or if you just want to try cogswap, download it, copy it too your memory card

How to use Cogswap

-boot up Cogswap
-place a PS2 disc in the tray
-wait til it displays the disc type
-press O button for CD or X button for DVD
-wait til it says "cogswap"
-then use a slide card (fat ps2) or sensor mod (Slim ps2) to swap out the game disc for your backup disc.
-press X to play the disc

For the Cogswap method, you will need to have your sensors blocked.
Follow the 'tape and tissue' method - http://www.geocities.com/pstwoslimline/tapetissue.htm

Or he could use USBAdvance and just use USBUtil ver1.2 to convert it to a HD. Even though some aren't compatible with USBAdvance, i think it's the quickest way.

You don't want to be asking that question on this forum. You have been warned.

That is considered piracy. I know people do it anyway, so 'Google is your best friend'
