How do you hack a ps2 with just a flash drive?

I currently have a 16gb flash drive and I'm trying to softmod my fat ps2 and play games off of my flash drive, I'm thinking of saving up and buying blank dvd-r's and downloading PS2 ISO and swamp magic onto them which I can use to softmod my ps2 if I can't with a flash drive.
I'd just like to know if there's way to pull it off with a flash-drive.

You have to use uLauchElf, FMCB (Free McBoot), and SwapMagic. I cant mod mines cuss its SCPH-90001 Date Code 1D & I'm not looking forward to buying any modchips.

Easy. i did it, but you do need to either buy, or own James Bond agent under fire. Your going to have to download apache, a blank dvd, an old credit card, or an old gift card thats empty and be able to remove the front of your ps2 disc tray case.

basically you have to get a computer program onto a memory card.
james bond and a few othergames (google has a list of games that work) allow you to swap disc during the game and load the boot disc then put the program onto a memory card.
you can load the boot disc on a modded ps2 and copy the files to memory card.
ar max and and a few other discs allow you to boot the boot disk and copy the files to memory card.again google will be your friend here.
theres a memory card called a memor32 that can connect to a computer and let you copy the files to it then copy them onto a standard memory card.
if you follow the 2nd,3rd,4th link and browse the site they will give you instuctions on how to do it.

I'm sorry, but Im lazy and I cant find the link to the official tutorial, but those are the main tools you will need to soft mod your ps2. then your going to need another program called usb util (NOTE: MAKE SURE that after you put your through usb util and onto the usb drive to defrag the usb with Asuslogics disk defrag or else it might stick and cut.) You will also need another app for your ps2 called ps2 openloader to play the games. its really simple once youve done it.

Well, You can either Buy a Mod chip for anywhere from 10 to 40 or more dollars, you could buy swapmagic for 20 dollars and up, or you can buy a Used James Bond agent under fire for 50 cents. I bought mine for 50cents from Game stop, Used. I used it to hack my Ps2, and I also enjoyed playing it. Your going to have to buy something, why not spend 50 cents at your local Gamestop?

Most Ps2 games are really cheap, dirt cheap actually, so I'd go with the 50 cent game. Especially since once you exploit the memory card, you can stick it into any ps2 and be able to do the same thing. Just a matter of configuration when you setup the exploit.

there have been several programs cliaming to do the exact same thing (that program does) for ps1 games,p2 games,xbox games & xbox 360 games.i have bookmarked the link and will give it ago but i am doubtful it will work.be sure to try it for yourself and report back and let us know the results.
Edit : just checked the site again and the software is not free its $29.95.personally if i paid and downloaded it and it didnt work it would costs more than $29.95 to sue the website and makers of the program.to me it seems like a con and waste of money but if you really think it will work go ahead and waste your money.

video store might have james bond for hire.other option which people do is send someone your memory card have them put the files on it and have them mail it back.
i was browsing link and somewhere found a forum.there are poeple who will put the stuff on the memory card all you have to pay is the postage and send it to them.
