PS2 Games From USB To HDLoader With Ulaunchelf?

My laser bit it on my fat ps2 and I have my empty hdd formatted with hdloader v0.8b+. Is it possible to transfer games from USB to Hdloader via ulaunchelf(v4.38)?

All my games were backed up to my pc so I could use my hard drive for something else for a while. Then after I cleared the hard drive off again my external hdd case stopped working and the only way to transfer via winhiip is to actually put the hdd into my case, which I don't want to do cuz I'll mess something up.

I currently see these folders on my hard drive in ulaunchelf:
__net/
__system/
__sysconf/
__common/
__boot/
HDLoader Settings/

They are all empty but the last one has a gamelist.log file. If I can transfer from usb to hdd, do I have to update gamelist.log myself? how would I do this?

There is no method that I know of to be able to copy your games from a USB drive to the IDE hdd.

You could set up a network and run hdl_server and hdl_dump - link

It is slow going to do it that way though.

Or you could just pick up another External hdd case. They aren't too expensive.
