Hi guys I'm starting to explore the modding scene on the ps2 lately
and to put it frankly, im not the most tech savvy guy out there, Basically theres all these main processes through which u can mod ur ps2, but then theres more and more processes and it all stacks up, for me theres no real clear way to mod ur ps2, I look around and hear all these various methods with each also varying once again, its getting me all confused ~_~
Personally as I tried to grasp everything I could understand, I decided i'd go the softmod route, and use cogswap, and do the memory card exploit, IDK what its called, but the one where u use a trigger psx disk and what not, But as i go along, theres all these other lil stuff i read, like using memory card only allows certain games to be played etc
Sorry I could be dead wrong anywhere up there, but my point is, i see so many different methods, like SwapMagic, which looks simple enough, but when you truly look into it, u need magic keys and etc
Heres the deal, i have a fat ps2, im going to soft mod it, Ill do anything and buy anything, but i need clear step by step instructions, I know the way im putting this isnt very nice, But i beg you, Im a real big noob, and theres no way i can really understand. Or at least show me some links, but i see many, but they only give me partial info.
I feel that if i could just understand all this information, Then I also would love to help many others who come after me
Sry for this huge wall of text, but words cant convey what a technologically blind person cant concieve in the past 3 hours i've used to try to grasp some knowledge ~_~~~~~
