Hello,

I currently have my PS2 modded by way of memory card (independence exploit) running games off the HDD w/ HD loader.

I'm interested in knowing if it was possible to run a SNES emulator from the memory card by just adding the .elf files and roms. I know there are other methods that include running off of a disc or usb drive. I just want to run only one game. Is this possible w/o using the disc method? If so, which emulator and files should I use.

tl;dr

I want to recreate my PS2 independence exploit cd for my memory card and want it to include a PS2 snes emulator with 1 rom game.

Grab a copy of the latest SNES Station ELF, that will do what you want it to. There shouldn't be a need to redo your independence exploit. You just toss that bad boy plus your rom onto your memory card via USB storage device + uLaunch (if you have enough free space) and you're good to go. Boot it like you would any other ELF file. If I remember correctly you can browse Memcard, USB storage, Disc drive, and HDD for roms (in case you want more latter but have no room left on your Memcard).
