I have a a PS2 slim 75001 and I want to start playing burned games from torrent sites the ones that I have are scratched from old use and time...I know that I can only download games I already have..I just dont know where to start...I live in the USA..

swap magic? (If i do where do it get it?)
flip top?
memory card?
free Mcboot?
modding?
nero?
DVD dycrypter?
alcohol 120%?

there is so many things that are out there and I am getting CONFUSED!!

I am wanting to play games like tiger woods 2009...nba 2k10...so forth mostly sports games...

after I get the hardware (If needed) then where do i start the downloading from for the games?

TOTAL NEWBIE to the PS2 stuff...thanks for all the support!!

Just wanted to let you know you can't ask where to download games from. As far as I know it violates one of the rules for the forums because it has to do with pirating.

I am not asking where to get the games....I am asking how to get started with my PS2

memory card? you will need at least a usb thumb drive.

free Mcboot? very easy too install too memory card

modding? all you need is free mcboot and a way too load certain disk so you can read the thumb drive
nero? no you dont need

Get img burn for iso burning
