Troubles Burning PS2 Back-Up

Today I ripped my copy of Katamari Damacy because it is terribly scratched and I want to be able to continue playing it.
When I got around to burning it back on to a Memorex DVD+R, every burning software I have used has given me a write error, I have used 7 DVD's and none of them have worked.
The software I used was the burner software that comes with Win 7, IMGBurn, DVD Decryptor, Alcohol 120% and Nero. I don't know what I am doing wrong, I have done no patching to the .iso nor have I set the burning to max, just like the guides I have read thoroughly tell you to do half the max burning speed the disc can handle (Memorex DVD+R is 16x).

Any pointers? Thorough guides/tutorials? Specific guides for games?

I am new to the PS2 scene but I have worked with the Wii, DS and Xbox scenes.

Any help will be appreciated.

when you burn your games Only burn then at 4x and use dvd-r disk's its easier on the laser or so i here,but i think you problem might be that the disk your copying is to baldy scratched resulting in corrupted data,all the data might not be coped because of the damage to the disk,well here is some link's to some image burn guides hope it help's ,peace
