I'm trying to upgrade from 5.00 M33-6 to 5.50 GEN-D3.
Where should I copy the 550.PBP? Do I simply copy it to F:/ ?
Do I simply copying the folder PSP onto F:/, which replaces the already existing PSP folder? Thanks.

@kill__all
learn the lingo.....
there is no such thing as torrent games...
you either download a legal .torrent or you don't.
a legal .iso you rip yourself; in either case if you find a way to use chickhen or cfwenabler to get you to use your .iso backups to play yours games is fine just watch out for the way you talk/ask about it.

Exactly what the guy above just said! Purchase yourself a PB, (I got one and love it!). You'll be able to correct the "brick" situation you are currently in and, it'll automatically install CFW if you like. From there you can use the update that is provided on their website to go straight from 5.00m33 → 5.50 GEN D3. It's damn near effortless.

you can make the pandora battery for free with a modded psp phat and hellcat's pandora installer or by cutting 1 pin inside the battery and the magic memory stick with programs like psp pandora deluxe or pspgrader links are in my signnature and as long as you inject the IPL onto your memory sticks you can use a pandora battery like normal
they cost anywhere from $5-$10 usd http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.12472

you need to get this and load it on a memory card, smaller the better. 256mb to 2gb max, for best results. once you have the magic stick made, put it in the psp, insert your pandora, while holding down the left trigger button, follow the onscreen instructions.
I only have 4gb does that work? and I am already on fat 5.50 GEN-B, always hang when I wanted to upgrade to 5.50GEN-D, what am I missing?
