Of course, did you think we thought otherwise? Would be very naive to giving the facts that its MS's product/network etc... But it still gives me a way to play games offline and then if I decide I like it I'll go buy a genuine copy for play on live.
I think its great that these people put there time & effort into these things for us, seems to me you have a chip on your shoulder for some reason.

Wait... Im confused... so you had a modded box, got banned and then took an extra console you had, that was NOT flashed, online and got hit?
I must be misinterpreting your words here. how would you get banned with an unmodded box?

yeah, then he got banned with his unmodded box. That to me says M$ banned him because his gamertag was noted to be used on a box that was in violation of the terms of use.
So the whole idea here is that 'yes' M$ can ban you because your tag was being used on a box at the time it was banned?
lol i think im just thinking about this too much.

my stock xbox isnt banned. i just keep a surplus of consoles for whenever someone inquires about purchased a flashed console from me. they stay stock until they are paid for, then i flash them.

oh. im an idiot. he never said he was banned again. That was someone else. I kept re reading the quotes in everyone messages not the whole thread. Sry.
anyways cheers to LT! I should have my banned unit switched out for another unit i just bought by next week so i think ill be right on time with LT's release. or at least hopefully.

so i am not banned on xbox live yet as i have not installed updates. However i want to get back onto it so my question is do you think once i put lt on my xbox over the 1.6 that i will be able to get on and possibly not get banned

Possibly. If your console was flagged as modded prior to the banwave then you could sprinkle magic pixie dust into it and it wouldn't stop you from being banned the next time you connect to live. Your console ID would be sitting on a database in Redmond and as soon as they detect it (LT or not) you are stuffed.

[3:07pm] <brand0n> so long story short the old team was going to go into profit then c4 told lead guy. now c4 is with team jungle and trying to make it a service where you pay to have to remotely modded....if thats right (what i got out of it) We shouldn't be expecting fw.............. this is some of the stuff being spread in the channel #fw i dont know how accurate this is, but i thought i would post so peeps could see what is taking so long!!! at least by what they are saying in there.

Sounds like absolute rubbish to me. I cant begin to imagine how remote modding would be possible considering the hoops we have to jump through for key extraction (Lite-on probe, etc)

this is the updated topic in #fw so the ops in there are saying the rumors of having to pay for the LT is false, lets hope that is true and they decide to release it soon.
