well I just got done switching a thumb drive between both of my 360's and it's still corrupt.guess I will have to uncripple my hard drive myself.The thing that sucks is its an arcade model.So it can take either 12 or 24 hours to get a good nand dump,and they say you need two.Oh well

I wouldn't be running the 360 without that. You're going to fry it no matter how you play the game.
ive been playing it that way for over a year now, it only recently has started giving me fits.

im not sure but i think you can connect via usb and it only takes a few minutes for a nand dump.
not to sure how to as i have an elite that i uncrippled.
i think team xecutor have a new device that is usb not lpt.
also i am nearly sure you can build a usb connection rather than an lpt one.

I have heard there is a way with a usb but I only see them for sale. If some one knows a guide I would be thankful

You can buy clear ones, stock ones, ones with lights. There is a large variety of them available for like $10 online.

hey i have flashed my xbox and now i want to flash back to stock i have a liteon drive 83850c can sum please tell me if it is method to flash to stock as it was to the lt firmware i ave been using this method to flash http://forums.afterdawn.com/t.cfm/f-152/...ncluded-797756/ do i do this again from the beginning cuz i already have my key and bin etc so plz let us know or give me a site so i can c or following sum 1 doing this to stock thanks in advance

No, if you already have your dummy.bin, load that into source and then load iX LT 1.1 for 83850c LiteOn into target. Click spoof source to target. Go over to the MTKFlash tab, click LiteOn erase. Click OK to the next 2 prompts. Power cycle the drive (off/on on your connectivity kit or unplug power cord to DVD drive for 1 second then plug back in). Should get status 0x72 with good flash chip properties. Write the firmware.

Put it onto a usb stick insert it into xbox360 and reboot, it will start updating straight away.
Or you can burn it onto a cd and install the update that way.
I have done this update via usb all seemed to work ok but now my profile is corrupt on my unmodded console and it wont let me recover for some reason!! Keeps saying cant save to this device, tried with a memory card and same thing wont let me recover. Any ideas?

hi the link in the first post does not allow me to access my avatars, although my hdd can been uncripped (yay) Any ideas on what to do with the avatar. I have a premium 60gig, banned console, running iX1.5. Thank You
edit- dashboard shows as 2.0.9199.0
Banned on iX1.5 Liteon. Currently wants to buy a new xbox but does not understand how all this flashing works and will not pay £40 to get this xbox flashed again.

Did you use the 7mb patch or the 80mbish one? The larger one has the avatars included.

The 7.6Mb one, there was no link for one that was 80mb, where do i find that one please?

Im using the same USB stick which I used to successfully install the 7.2Mb Update but for the large 80Mb'ish update it will not install. I have extracted the folder into the root of the USB, exactly the same as I did before but it just wont install this update, is that because I have already installed the 7Mb update? How can I tackle this problem please? Thank You.
EDIT - There was a system update folder within the system update folder. (smacks face) BUt it still wont boot from the USB :-(
