burning xbox kinect games problem

HI,
i was wondering if there is special way to burn those images.
i am able to burn just fine the Xbox 360 games.
But when i burn Kinect games they do not boot it stuck on the xbox360 logo on the console.
any body here was able to burn kinect isos?

Are you using abgx version 104?
It patches for AP25.
Lite-On 74850, Ben-Q 64930, Hitachi 47DJ, Samsung MS28.

Are you using abgx version 104?
It patches for AP25.
This has nothing to do with it. No kinect games are ap25 yet.
Kinect games will boot if you were running LT firmware just fine. Need more information like what games aren't working? Are you using verbatims?

No problems here, think these are wave 7+ so you may need to re-flash or downgrade to a lower wave?

Some Hitachi's bypass the AP25 -- I know that my 47 does. Not sure about the 78 though.

I thought ixtreme 1.51 is the latest FW for hitachi drive. There is no LT+ for hitachi.
Also, I thought that Hitachi drive would work with any Wave games.

Hi everyone.
I am a total nuB so please have patience and understanding.
I need some (at least little) guidance.
I just bought my first xbox (the new black 4GB console with kinect controller and adventures bundle). It is brand new, out-of-the-box machine, with no changes done. Perhaps there was an update done though as i logged on to Live.
I d-loaded a kinect game (Game Party: In Motion : Kinect Region Free, not ap2.5) and burned it to a DL disc (EMTEC, not a Verbatim though) with imgburn. I did set layer break to 1913760.
when loaded in the tray, only the xbox 360 logo comes on and it tries to play the disc as DVD or movie.
now the questions:
* do i need to do something to the console like FW update? Mod it (i don't know really how it works but I know people do this) or patch?
* is it then safe to go online with it flashed?
* or would just changing to Verbatim would solve the issue?
I looked into some forums but all is just to advanced for me to grasp, being totally new to the "game".perhaps someone kind enough can just point were i should search for info for dummies?
I need simple "go there, do this" sort of guidance (and no, go to xxxx and xxxx yourself" is not considered constructive help :) )

I have 2 different v78 hitachi drives both flashed 1.51. One of them boots kinect and AP2.5 games, and the other doesn't. I think it's a hit and miss. I believe it's the same with Samsung as I have one of those that doesn't boot kinect or AP2.5 games and a few samsungs that do.

Hi,
My question, concern would be whether an backup-ISO would be burned to a DVD... what should have been done to be able to use a 1 week old 360 + kinect combination. Let's say it would be the "Dance Central".
What should I do to use that copy of game offline and with "Live"?

what drive do you have? I have hitachi 78 and it won't boot kinect or AP 2.5 games. I just ordered benq drive; hopefully i could spoof it to hitachi and put ixtreme lt+ on it.

i have a straight rip of need for speed hot pursuit,,from a sammy with 0800 firmware,,have used this drive for all my rips,,flashed LT+ on a couple of liteons,,and this game will not boot,,says play dvd,,all my other games play fine,,not the new ones,do you have to patch the game for it to play??

Has anybody found a fix for the Kinect Games?
I bought a banned Xbox360 off ebay with a number of backed up games. I don't know if it was flashed, hardware modded (can check as it looks as if the console has been opened at some time. Unfortunately, the only time I felt the need to backup was after I bought the Kinect, I tried several Kinect games like jotride, kinectimals, etc. using Verbatim DL disks using the abgx360 and rwriting at 2.4x, but didn't work and then with Aone plus DL disks writing at 1x, but all I get is the DVD screen or the Xbox logo.Thanks for any help.

ok. I have no idea what drive I have or how to findout. I can play backup games though. I can even play Ap2.5 games no problem. I use abgx and clone cd has worked for everything except kinect games. i tried to do joyride and when i put it in my xbox says to open tray. any ideas on how to get them to work?

hey I had the same problem with the kinect sports game and it worked for me after doing this :
1. download activate.iso from here : http://www.megaupload.com/?d=8PVNCCLW
2. follow the instructions on the following link , showing how you burn activate.iso with img burn : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KKS1jLV6htc
3. so you first put your activate.iso into xbox tray and then after you press paly dvd you put your burnt disc with your kinect game.
it has to work! it worked for me! cheers

In a nut shell if you intend to go online you need two 360's one for online & unmodded the other with a flashed dvd rom drive so it can play backup games.I have a flashed 360 the only time i go online is dash update or game conten download,i never use a copied disc if i go online to get a content download,if i was going to game with this console which i have done i always use an original disc there is no guarantee i won't get banned at some point however i don't game online so i don't care
As for getting a d/loaded game to work your on your own your better off making them your self then they will work 100% everytime the parts required are as follows
Kreon flashed samsung dvdrom for computer to read xbox game no ther will do
DL Burner
verbatim dl disc from singapore either 4x or 8x no exceptions
xboxbackup creater software(is free)to be used with kreon sammy
lastly a 360 with flashed dvd drive
any more info you require either start your own thread or better still do more reading it's fairly simple except the fashing of the 360 for people like you & me

I just bought one kinect with xbox360, and I already have updated....so could I use your process to boot the backup dvd? because this dvd stuck on xbox screen and not goes further, and the original dvd game is working fine. I have this copy , cause to prevent the scratch of the original one.
