Now when i turn on my xbox it has a flashing light in the middle of the power on button but it does not open or close . i cant send mode b or anything. But when i turn my computer it detects it on the bios.

Sorry, but you are right. It's bricked. I hope you saved your key file because you're going to need to flash it onto a new drive. I'd recommend replacing it with a BenQ and spoofing it so that you don't have to deal with this issue again.

$38 on new discs -- Check
$15 on burn after burn that showed as a DVD -- Check
$11 on new laser -- Check
$28 on new multimeter -- Check

if you have the key your safe, just get the drive back in to vendor mode, jungleflasher wont pick it up cause there is no info on it,just rewrite the firmware on it again

That would normally work, but with a Hitachi it won't. One flash gone bad = disaster to a Hitachi.

i dont remember if i just did a 47 or not but i couldnt get it into vender mode. It was recognized in jf and i sent the intro to it manually by hitting that button and while it was doing its thing, i power cycled it quickly then it reconginzed it. of course if you cant see it in jf then i dunno but i was thinking you could send the intro if you can and power cycling it.
