wtf, i have newzbin set to report incompletes and its not even showing up... lame... thnx for the info leerage... now whos going to be the brave one to try it out? online. :)

It is going to be a little bit. The mod locked the thread and is trying to work something out with the OP. They said it will definitely be back open. So once it gets fully uped, I'm sure it will posted other places.

ill try it on live, idc, i got a console coming back from MS today, and just pulled a complete set off of ebay for 56 bucks that ill have back from MS in a week or two.

It is going to be a little bit. The mod locked the thread and is trying to work something out with the OP. They said it will definitely be back open. So once it gets fully uped, I'm sure it will posted other places.
a mod on newzbin? and i know i alyways play early, but i am leary of this one, especially since they "said" they were looking for us. i doubt anything will happen, and are bluffing, but i'd rather keep my account as safe as possible. who knows it's m$, they might not ban until 3-4 weeks after the incident.

i'm not worried about a ban. just get a new box. it's the greater legal ramifications that i would be worried about.

what greater legal ramifications? how are they going to prove you had a burnt copy and not a leaked retail copy? who says i dont work at bestbuy, blockbuster, a mom and pop store and swiped a copy of it late one night.

for the most part i agree with you. but since halo is ms's baby and cash cow i wouldn't be surprised if one of these days they took it to the next level.
if they do have ways of checking for mods that we don't know about we're probably already on some kind of blacklist. wouldn't be hard for them to put 2 and 2 together if you have been tagged for modding and then playing their baby 3 weeks early.
it's just me being more paranoid than anything but i neve want to be on the bad end of the 'software downloading' stick. that shit can ruin your life.

Aparently the statement that MS said saying that, ahs been retracted. Latest news is that if they think you obtained the game illegitimately then you will get banned. So it isn't supposed to be an instant ban. What you can bet on though is your account certainly being monitored.
