Wow, pretty crazy...gotten so used to having to do all this stuff (and all the trace cutting for the liteons) it's almost hard to believe. So this will work on all fat 360 drives then? What about the slims?

Just Usb would be good, I hope it will be easy to do. The last LT I was told I would never have to update the firmware just to run the game offline, if this works I'd rather get this then keep paying to have it flashed.

This tool will include a GUI tool that will eventually also replace Jungle Flasher. In the begining you will dump the key with this, use JF to combine LT+ with the dump and then flash. According to VGCrepairs, they are working on the gui to do it all. No JF needed

so when it's released will it do both the dump and the write? Once you get the tool, will it be a matter of a simple software update to be able to combine the key and LT+ or will you have to buy a new version? And do you have a link to VGCrepairs where i can read about it?

VCGrepairs will be selling the tool. Maximus will have it on their site by Friday according to ED. There will be an update yes to elimiate JF and it will be free of charge for the software. A simple download. It will dump and write yes.

Haven't seen the jailbreak. It all depends on what Team X prices for their other tool. Funny how team x all of a sudden has one to. I have been told around $100 which for me will be paid for in two drive flashes and alone will save so much time. Of course no price is set in stone.

So how does this exactly work? You just place it on the drive and connect to a usb port?

This device will be so easy a 4 year old can flash a drive. No via card needed, no sata, no soldering, no cutting. It's USB. Plug it in and go

Okay, so just plugs into the SATA connection on the drive? This will be simple, especially for Lite-On's which you had to probe and apparently now have to cut and solder. This is will def be worth buying then.

Best thing is, we're even talking slims can be dumped to and written (when firmware releases of course). All drives :)
Did you watch the video?

I will watch it at home (at work, would watch it on lunch break but going out with some friends for lunch). What about future drives, would it be a matter of just an update to this device? This is great news though, cause this would be very handy using it in my laptop

New drives no one knows, we'll approach that when or if they ever release.

I will definitely be buying this when it is released. I always wanted to flash my own drive but was just too lazy to continue the research on how to do it and cautious of messing up.
