well my lite on reads it like nothing with out book disc,i tried on my benq and samsung no luck,maybe cause i didnt use a dl boot disc? i need to try a hitachi

not even with the dual layer boot disc works with samsung and benq,oh well,hopefully a fix is out soon

edited by ddp.. and I was just about to mod my Xbox 360 at some store to 1.51. Gonna wait for the new FW. And people thinking of DLing MW2, that game is worth buying (seems like it) and Microsoft will definitely checking for pirated copies of that game. Got mine on Pre-Order =]
Edit: Ok maybe I cant wait.. If I get the 1.51 mod for my Ben-Q Lite-On and I have a Wave 4 game, is it as safe as it is using a Wave 3 disc on 1.51?
P.S. Yes, I know it is never safe.

ok guys i have ix 1.6 not sure what drive just purchased it in september.can someone tell me how to burn the active iso file.i have the latest version of image burn,i do not know how to set it to burn a single layer and how to check that the the layer break is blank thanks

You need your Activate.iso file! http://www.jungleflasher.net/files/activate.rar
2: Once you have the activate.iso file, you wanna drag and drop or save it to your desktop.
3: Insert a DVD+R DL into your dvd burner.
4: Now open up Activate.iso with any burning software you use. (I.E. Imgburn, Clonecd, etc? I personally use Imgburn? )
5: Now in your burning program go into your write setting tab and make sure your layerbreak is set to the Calculate Optimal setting. Also check your booktype for DVD+R DL and make sure its on the DVD-ROM setting and that your write speed is at 2.4x.
6: Start Burn!
7: As soon as the burn starts a message will pop saying, ?that the image is small enough for a regular DVD R, do you want to continue anyway??
(You wanna choose yes because burned to a regular DVDR the Activate.iso wont work!!!)
8: Next another message will pop saying, ?even though the image is small enough to fit into one layer its best to write in both layers, do wou wanna go away from the norm and write in only one layer?? (Now I wanna stress?READ THIS MESSAGE CAREFULLY!!!!)
Choosing ?Yes? will cause all data to be wrttin into the first layer.
Choosing ?No? will cause data to be writing into both layers.
CHOOSE Yes!!
9: It will burn then finish?
10: Insert the Activate.iso disk into your xbox 360. It will read for a little longer than usual then finally it will say ?Play DVD?. Press ?A? on your controller and a video should pop saying, ?Play this disk in an xbox 360 console?.
This is how you know you?ve burned the iso sucessfully!!
11: Now just eject the Activate.iso disk and insert your unstealthed, modified or Hybrid disk and it will load!!!

i have the same problem, wave 3 games work fine but Cars race o rama gives me the xbox 360 screen(play DVD).
used the Activate.iso that gives me the "insert disk into a xbox 360" screen so i change disks but get the same "Play DVD" tab :-(
i have a Benq aswell ( i thought it was 1.51 but i must be wrong).

I have 1.6 firmware with my Lite-On and when I put in Saw, retail disc, I got the play dvd screen at first. I ejected and tried again and it played fine. Anyone know if Saw is wave 4 or not? From what I have read retail games should work fine regardless of firmware.
Also, when I rip any new releases and run thru ABGX, will I even get results if it is in fact a wave 4 game?

Yes that's right. The iExtreme firmware will refuse to boot non-stealth patched games.

Yes, it will notify you if the is an abnormality regarding the stealth patch (whether or not there is any game corruption / unseen wave)
