i have tried this but i have a new black wii, will it still work. Do i need to install DVDX or anything else before it will work. or do i have to put it on a USB.

Have you softmodded the wii? If not you will need to softmod the wii before you can watch DIVX on the wii.

I have softmodded itas per Larrylje guide. I have bootmii, homebrew channel usbloader gx etc. It is a black Wii, so not sure if that makes a difference. it plays wbfs froma usb stick. i have m-player on there. any ideas please?
