Has anyone else had difficulties with this dvd? DvdFab won't open the disc and Ripit4me identifies 3075 bogus PGC's and can't open VTS2 IFO. Is this some new copy protection? Any help would be appreciated. btw my Anydvd trial has expired before you ask...!

Use AnyDvD program to unlock the DVD. 1. run AnyDvdand put your movie in your drive. AnyDvd will scan and unlock. 2.use [bDvd Clone[/color][/b] to rip or make a copy of your movie. I hope that helps for you.

Oh and about the trial period of AnyDvd. Just uninstall it and reinstall it without being connected to the net. Make sure you disable Automatically check for new version under the program settings

Already Endo? Jeez man...
Is that thunder i hear in the distance? Hmmm...?
@pyschoone
When you say neither will read the disc, are you meaning they won't copy the disc or seriously cannot get passed the initial scanning phase?
Does the DVD play in both your standalone and your pc?

Windows detects it, but all it does in any program to rip it is scan continuously, and when it stops the DVD doesnt show up, its blank. It does play in all other players though, and Ive got three PC DVD players, and its doing the same in all drives.

Yes...AnyDVD 6.6.0.9 in background. Backed up to HDD. Movie only at 100% (edited out end credits, extra audio tracks, etc) using Shrink. Burned with Nero and got perfect DVD5 disc. AnyDVD is tops!!!

I had no difficulties with Surrogates. Used DVDfab 6.2.18, pathplayer on, movie only (which I always use except for TV Series).
Backup played flawlessly.
