You can just use the disc itself to setup the Network.
Just go into the LAN or ONline options when you have the game loaded.
Just check youtube if you need more help - link

Ok the LAN is only for playing someone else on your own network at home.
you need the Online option.
Usually just choose Auto and let it configure
Are you connected to your PS2 directly from pc, or through a router
-612 NET_DNS_TRY_AGAIN
The DNS resolver cannot be found. "DNAS Error (-612) A network error has occurred." Please double-check your network connection and/or network configuration.

Edit your post later and remove your cell number unless you want every one else to have it.
The DNAS 6xx error numbers are all network issues.
so there must be a problem with your router settings somewhere.

Ok all I can do is refer you to the guide to setup
http://playstation.custhelp.com/app/answ...d/240/related/1
Question: Do you have your ps2 modded in any way. Are you able to launch uLe
I ask because if you were it is an easy way to see if your connected to the PS2 or not is by going to 'Filebrowser' in uLe, then selecting 'Misc' then PS2NET
It may be a setting in your router, thats not allowing you too connect to your PS2

Could this have anything to do with the fact that my PS2 will not play Music Track CDs, or DVDs, only PS2 games??

Nope, if you are able to load the disc Call of Duty, go into OPTIONS, ONLINE Setup, and be able to set up a connection. Choose DHCP Auto
That is all that matters.

Ok in the online gaming options, does it not say somewhere.Select DHCP automatically or something like that.
It should have choice to ADD Network by pressing SQUARE, then just select auto
The video links in youtube show it exactly.
