I recently purchased component cables for my ps2, and i switched to the YCb/Pb Cr/Pr setting and am currently viewing the main PS2 menu without issues. Things are sharp, clear and look ready to play, however, when i try to boot a game, i'm lucky if it makes it past one or two of the company logo screens (prior to game main menus) before i get a blank No Signal screen on my HDTV. I've tried several games with the same results. I'm running Free McBoot v1.8 on a fat PS2. Is there something i'm missing? Please help!

What chip are you using? Had a problem where my ps2 was getting no sound turns out i had the audio cables plugged in the wrong ports, lol. Hope it goes well, check your ps2 games and make sure they are in readable condition, either that or contact anyone who may have helped or has console experience. It may be the laser dying if not reading discs they are replaceable but it could be kinda pricy depending on the help you find.
