PS2 DVD Player Region Free ?

I have the PS2 version of the Action Replay max evo and a PS2 with Free mcboot installed. I gave been searching all over the max evo disc for the dvd region x files so I can copy them to a usb stick and launch them that way instead of having to keep loading the ar max evo disc. I havent been able to find them and I am woundering if they are somewhere hidden on the disc so you cant copy them. Does any one know where the files are. If not, is there a region free player .elf that I can download and launch? I live in the usa and have a ntsc ps2.
