Hi, I have a PS2 v15 with Crystal Chip 2.0 installed. About two months ago, my PS2 didn't work; my screen was black and it didn't boot any games so I opened it up and saw that two wires had come loose. I fixed the first wire, but the second wire kept giving me trouble and I ran out of solder so I had to use the solder that was on the component.

Unfortunatley, since I'm a novice at soldering I did not know what to do and ended up over heating the component which then made it loose and eventually caused it to come out of its place.

I used a 30 watt soldering iron. Here is a picture of the component, its in #1 marked as SX:

My question is, can I re-solder it and fix my PS2 or should I ready up the grave?

Also, the laser can't any disc I put in it and the drive motor spins out of controlling and there is clicking noise coming from the laser.
