Hello, I've wondered to this forum because I'm looking for some answers for a few questions I have, please bare with me.
I recently acquired a SCPH-90001 v18 NSTC/U PS2, which is model is only released in the US anyway, so I don't know why I said that. Eitherway, I have a modchip in it, but I want to go one more step in modding the PS2. I want to replace the PS2 with a completely clear case, or a red/silver case. Now, I found a site that sells cases, but it doesn't specify what version the cases were manufactured for.
I'm suspected they were made for an older model of the PS2 though. The main reason I want to replace the case on the PS2 is because the case I have on this PS2 sucks and one third of it is that shiny stuff you can see your reflection in. It gets fingerprints and dust on it like crazy, so I just want to totally replace the case.
Does anyone know anywhere I can find a case for this model of the PS2? Can I use a case designed for an older model PS2? I didn't know if I can because the powersupplies are built into the newer models, and they weren't in the older models.
Eitherway, thanks for taking your time to read this, I'll appreciate any help or answered :D
I have not seen any replacement cases for the V18...but that does not prevent you from making one yourself...you can make it look like a hardcover book, an RC car, or whatever else you can think of!
