PS2 slim DISC circular scratshes help

Well everybody i have ps2 slim version and it's working fine... i have very small preblem about reading disc... sometimes it wont read and in the end after few turn-offs and turn-ons i can finally play the wanted game. The problem is that after some play-time my discs got deformed... the circular scratches was all around my new Dark Cloud disc. This was not the first time something like this to happens. About a 5 games journeyed to trashcan, and i still have about 7-8 disc with fine deep scratches but still working. So i am afraid that if i continue playing these scratches will devour my freak disc. :/ Help
