Hey guys, Im having a bit of problem that I have been searching around for but cant seem to find anything specific. All I find are DRE problems but this isnt one of those.
Ok, Slimline PS2 not modded except for the magic key's swap method. PS2 never had a problem. So I am playing a game the other day, And the PS2 just stops and goes back to the browser which says "No Data". So i pop it open....reset....same thing, "No Data". So i check a few things and what's odd to me is that it's not even spinning the disc if I keep the lid open I can check, As my keys are in place. The laser isnt moving at all on bootup and the disc wont spin on bootup.
So i left it be, The next day I decided to check it, and it worked fine like normal....for about 5 minutes....then the same thing happened.
I assume it's something like a fuse....or motor....or laser eye. But I dont want to spend the money and ifnd out it isnt then have to go through an RMA process.
Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated, Thanks guys....peace.
