I was thinking that but I need the direct feed in to the chorus box as that's downstairs and I am paying for their digi max package.
Would it be possible to use a splitter?

As long as its a good quality splitter, and not that plastic crap one, should be fine, split before it gets to any of the boxes, also be aware, that when you split any feed, you are splitting it by half, so signal could be an issue then.

I decided to test it before I tried a splitter.I used the direct feed in to the eurovox and re-scanned but still only RTE 1.Should
have guess it wouldn't work, afterall they did roll out Nagra 3 to all the channels.I suppose I was just hoping for the best.
Back to the drawing board, thanks for the advise.

Would it be possible to buy another Sagem box and just card swap your current Chor*s card in the new box when ever you wanted to watch something? Or does the Sagem box have to be configured by Chor*s.

Far as I know, the card is paired to the box, so dont think it will work in a different box!!

Get out of that garden!

Guys. New to the site & joined to get a heads up. First of all, have to say a big appreciation to guys like Mickah - we need dudes like this to keep us up to date. As a mere mortal and not well into the whole techie aspect of encryption, really need and appreciate a forum like this (I am sure I speak for many here).
Anyway to the point - live in Naas - as from last night (12 Nov) Ch**us did an upgrade (got a letter about it) and my Starview 3 bliss is suddenly over.

From reading the thread(& NB. keep it simple guys):

Seems there is 3 levels of encryption N1, N2 & N3?
Is Ch**us gone to N3?
Can it be cracked?
Will boxes like mine work with an update if avail soon?
Is there any box avail now that can crack N3?

Thks.

Last time i was on to Cho*us i asked if i could switch cards between boxes and they said yes.

Was asking as we thought one was damaged and wanted to take a card from the bedroom to living room, save having to move the boxes

im 100% positive that cho#us cards are basicly married to the box there in so you cannot switch cards from box to box
