Hi there
Does anybody know if the ex1000sl will work in Galway
with n-l and if so how do i go about it ,symbol rates ,frequencies to scan etc .

Hi scOuser so basically if i set it up for n_l
in Dublin it should work when you take it to Galway

Frequencies differ but symbol rate 6887 remains the same. When you get to Galway, clear your channels and then do a powerscan using 6887 again. That should be it ;)

buy or subscribe mmds cable box different dvb-c tuner in cable box.. mmds box dvb-t tuner same as in most new lcd tvs for "freeview" and satellite has a dvb-s tuner.

Anyone know the frequency for ManUtdtv for chorus cable in Athlone? I have 87 channels at the moment, what's the max number of channels that can be picked up in my area? cheers for any replies

hi i just put the new V-MAX firmware on but when i go to system info its still says 18th april 08 s/w version is that right or should it have the new Firmware Date on..anyway it has put a Deep scan option on the Menu now

That is fine April 18 2008 is correct, that is the Firmware that has been moddified, and you have successfully flashed.

HiTecks guide couldn't be any simpler, just go through it step by step, and you will be fine.
Whatever you say, say nothing when you talk about you know what for if you know who might hear you, you know what youll get. Youll be sent off to you know where for you would not know how long. Maybe I could search through the threads so you dont have to ??

Yes anto both try this courtesy of scouser.
1. Plug the RF lead into the video RF socket on the back of the Eurovox.
2. Tune your telly until you get the 'enter pin' screen for your Eurovox.
3. Enter the master pin which is 1004.
4. Go to Eurovox menu and clear data, then do a factory reset.
5. Thats it, plug your scart back in and do a powerscan as normal.
Thanks Scouser and Hiteck, did the above with a blue clone eurovox I was having trouble with and I now have it back up and running, Thanks:)

HI guys i have a euro vox max red belonged to my brother and am trying to flash via null modem.It says on the site at first page "Plug in the power cord on the Eurov0x unit and wait until (----) appears on the front display."problem is i dont see any(---).its on stanby and wont come of it.Any help or advice?

Think you are reading it wrong, that advice ---- is only for New Unflashed boxes, you will need to flash your RED BOX from the Standby stage, as it has had Firmware installed previously.

Yes you follow the exact procedure as outlined in HiTeck's Guide, how have you got the box connected to your PC, is it with a proven NULL MODEM lead or what?
