Hello Smarty,
I lost most of the more popular channels in the initial switch down about 2 months ago by N*L i.e S*Y sports and movie channels. What I have noticed recently and this is what I made reference to above is that other channels like Eurosport, At the Races etc are now being switched off. I suppose it is only a matter of time before the lot go. It is good to have a forum like this to keep the less initiated amongst us (i.e. me) up to speed with what is happening. I suppose we are all hoping for the 'Eureka' moment when somebody screams that N3 has been broken. We can but live in hope.

Hello all, just wondering if anyone can help. Just bought a Eurovox EX7000 HD+, I've tried to download the firmware and when I download it from the link in the guide there is just a "flash_120309.tbn" file.
Does anyone know anywhere I can download the firmware from?

that is the firmware for your box put it on to a usb device and follow below
Flashing The EX7000HD using USB
1. Download the required firmware
2. Copy it to your usb pen or equivalent, ensure file name is (flash.tbn).
3. Insert it into the usb slot and switch power off then back on at the rear switch.
3. box will reboot, open the flash file extract it to its memory and install it automatically.
4. Once flashed its a piece just a matter of select your desired settings, scan then sit back and watch after leaving for a few minutes on a scrambled channel like sly sports 1.

nope but they can always buy Kryptview or starview ones as they are both fixed now
but support for Kryptview is best as we have seen each time the boxes have gone down

oh yes forgot them with an extra £40.00 been added to their boxes i would say people are just looking for a cheap cable box that they can watch tv on
and they can get them from below
SKYWONDER.CO.UK WHO DO GREAT DEALS ON BOXES CHECK THEM OUT .

I would go for the starview USB personally, any changes from here on will probably be to N3 and then none of the above will work so with regards to how fast the support is, it wont matter.
Also the starview is a cheaper than the kryptview ;) and working 100%
