Mickah, you say they wont fix older boxes so what would the best box be to buy that is well supported and will be able to cope with nag3 when it comes in.?

I would imagine the max v would be quite popular alright but as of yet theres no fix all we can do is wait and see.

The only nagra to fix for the eurovox is for the ex1000 at the moment people i dont know why people keep askin the same questions without bothering to read the thread

thanks to hiteck and others on this thread my friends ev 1000 xl is up and running,once or twice we hit a brick wall but when we searched the threads we found the answers there in front of us

If you have a Eurovox Max V 2008 (Black Box) you're screwed. You can get the 1000sl etc. and have some functionality of sorts with whatever new N2 fix is just out, but still won't have ALL channels (Sky Sports, Movies etc.) back up and running due to the fact that N3 has not yet been fixed, and they will always ask you to insert your Smart Card. As yet, no one knows when N3 will ever be cracked and it could still be a long wait. In fact, I might as well throw out my Eurovox Max V 2008.
Have I pretty much got the idea?! ;o)

There is a fix for EX1000 , EX5000 and EX5100 All channels.
There is no fix as of yet for other Eurovox.
Don't throw your box out yet!!!

Hi guys just wondering have a EURUOX MAX V dont know much about these models as it was my sons who is no moved out in system information it says DVB-XCBOXV TDA S/W VERSION 1.0 STC4 APR 2008 H/W VERSION 2.0t K5 Is there any new firmware for n hell ireland dub. Or do you know if this is a clone . Thanks for any info.

hi scouser. i've installed the fix for pvr5000 and all is fine except there are a few channels which are showing scammbled. Any idea why or how to remedy it.I had disne- channell and adjusted for150 mhz and now hey are scambled. thanks scouser in anticipation

I also have the EX5000 PVR and have applied the patch,factory reset, ran a scan and it only found 10 channels. I then ran a deep scan it it has now found all the channels ( they are all listed when i press the TV button on the Eurovox remote ) but they are all coming up 'scrambled channel'. I'm on NTHell Dublin. Any ideas please?
See other thread suggesting to press Menu, Language and the 1968 ?? Where does the 1968 come into it. I get 4 options and all are set to English and Emulation is set to Enable. I can't get where the 1968 is entered? Any ideas.
