Sounds like a hardware issue but strange just after a firmware update? Try unplugging all the ribbon cable connections obviously with the box unplugged. The push them all back home firmly.

Is there a small reset button on the main board? Looking at the internals of the faulty box do they look any way different to any of the working boxes.

I know I am asking a lot but it will help others. While you are there could you take a few pics :)

So in other words, if i download the fix to the box is that all i need to do

there is no update for the max v and i dont think there will be 1 coming out
fix for eurovox
ex 1000, 5000, 5001 thats all
also there are a few boxes you can now choose from that are working fine!
