Hi Folks, I haven't been logging on lately but we've started to lose channels down here in Naas on chorus and wanted to know if this is due to the Nagra 2 roll out? I checked the first page of this thread and it has a link for the fix...I've done the f/ware upgrade a few times before, so is it just the same procedure all over again?

Is there a small reset button on the main board? Looking at the internals of the faulty box do they look any way different to any of the working boxes.

I know I am asking a lot but it will help others. While you are there could you take a few pics :)
unplug the box wheres the fun in that scouser :P

hi guys. having a few problems, help would be amazingly appreciated;

when i try to do this (from the start of the guide);

1. Go to the Start Menu
2. Right click on "My Computer"
3. Select "Properties"
4. Click on the "Hardware" tab
5. Click on "Device Manager"
6. Click the + sign next to "Ports (COM & LPT)"
7. One of the listed ports should indicate which port your USB adapter is connected to (e.g. COM1, COM2, COM3, etc.)
8. Go back to your map software program that you use to transfer data and make sure it is looking at the correct port.
9. You should be able to transfer data once the correct port is selected
step 6 is where im stuck as my pc doesnt give me the option for PORTS, nor my laptop. this is probably something really simple but can anyone help?

also, if i just put the NAGRA two fix on my box and then do a powerscan will i be good, or do i need to reflash it etc (bearing in mind my box went off when the NAGRA 2 came online a few months ago,).
So in other words, if i download the fix to the box is that all i need to do

THanks again so much guys

You must have the cable plugged into your laptop for the Ports (COM & LPT) to be visible.
Download the fix to the box
once finished
Courtesy of Sc0user ;)

1. Set time using GMT.
2. Go to installation, user installation.
3. Press red button to preform an autoscan.
4. When autoscan completes, IMMEDIATELY go to time settings again.
5. Make sure time is still correct.
6. Turn GMT off.
7. Press blue button to save and exit.

although some people set the time fist and then do the scan
press menu----language--1968 and make sure that emulation is set to enable.
then do the scan

Hi, I have the max v and wondering if there is any chance that a fix might be found for it or would I be better off getting rid of it and look at a newer model.
It's getting near the start of the new season and was tempted to go back to nt*hell but have already been put off by their crap customer service.
