Hi all

I've downloaded and flashed box successfully but i'm getting just scrambled channels on most channels like sly sports or movies.

i've tried looking all over the forum but cant workout what i'm doing wrong.

i'm from wolves area and tried both area codes.

ok m8 first take all the connections off your box and reflas it again with same firmware

then menu installation factory default the box fully then connect up the cable feed only top connection then do a new scan network only with your correct provider TW on the top press the green button.

Next screen you get with a list of net id which should be 40973 if that dont work try Ntl on the provider and start again

after it has scanned all the channels exit out then plug your ethernet cable from your router and NOT modem into the box let me know

philpot are you using virgin broadband? I'm thinking of getting a kryptview, but as I have virgin broadband not sure if this is a safe bet. Might have to wait until my sub expires before changing broadband.

another question is how internet usage will connnecting to a cs server take up. I'm on size L, 10mb, unlimited downloads. Is the kryptview always sending data back and forth or only when keys are updated. If I put box in standby will it stop sending and receiving data. Also how does the sub work on this, is it a year sub? I've googled sellers of this box can you recommend anyone else apart from the facebook contact, one site says they have them in on 25th Aug.

No there is "always data" going back and forward once connected (as far as i know)
Not sure when in standby! But more than likely yes, As them boxes update when in standby
No yearly sub on krypt again (as fas as i know)lol
Try "mycablebox" for a krypt

How big is this data? aere we talking bytes, Kb, Mb, Gb. I use internet probably 3-4 hours a day maybe down odd movies now. If I switch it off during the day then that would stop data comms, then turn it on when I wanna watch it. That would remove any suspicions from virgin about my internet usage.

try keep to 1 thread with questions as it can be confusion for others who are reading and trying to help aswell

data= very little
either way they "can not" tell you are watching a box
as mentioned a few times on posts and threads get a "VPN" for added security
but make sure you know how to use it,
1 chap on here does that, as in sales/
