Yep to answer your question/s all fine in the UK and yes there is an Irish fix for the 1000 sl - it's on the first page of this thread or alternatively you will find all the latest Firmware in Eamo's FTA Library.

i had old starview no good any more im thinking of getting new starview 4 usb box now for sports season starting, i have a site to get it i think , can any one say if i should or should not go ahead with buying it? i know nobody knows how long will last it just i got new card for my current box ,i hoping that has nothing to do with blocking acces to other one i may buy?

nobody knows how long they will last you answered half your question yourself
but to ask if you should or should not buy a box, well its your money and you know the risks!!

Go on.. Go for it! Buy a usb box now. At least you'll have a bit of excitement back in your life! I'ts a chance to get one over That n** crowd again. The longer you wait. the less time you'll get out of the box. Cause we all know that eventually N** will get us again!

MICKAH, all Eurovox fixes are updated in the Eurovox Flashing Guide, wouldn't it be better to put that link in this thread rather than adding each and every fix download? all the info is collected there, e.g EX7000HD has been updated in that guide but it hasn't here on page 1 ;) just an idea.

Hey guys,have lost channels on frequencys 412.000,420.000,sly family,sci-fi,drama,classic,indie,modern,ppv and many more.Saying no signal.In newbridge area.Have they moved?

I do not think they moved but the nearest frequencies to the ones you quoted are actually 410.750 and 418.750 in your area. Have you tried those? What box have you got?

Did a manual scan on those freqs. but no luck.
When i do the scan a list of channel names appear,then wait to save.
Getting signal strength of 86% which i didnt have before.
Name of channel is in the epg bar.

Did you edit the TPs in the installation menu as you need to do this. Or you can add them and keep the ones you have just to check. If they work you can then delete the non working TPs.
Or you can do a factory reset and powerscan. This however will lose you channel list if you have it sorted and you need to resort it.

@mommy187 Google Wizardsatellites they are the main distributor. They only sell genuine boxes so you do not have to worry about clones.

Maybe he is referring to an old Eurovox 1 or Eurovox 2. They are all silver on the outer casing. A Eurovox 1 will have one scart and a Eurovox 2 will have 2.
You will find firmware and loader here in HiTeck's Guide
They only work in the UK with the latest firmware.
