And woodford. Oh well good while it lasted looking to try some programming sv4 myself. Can't make my doorsttop any worse. Any advice on where to get info from greatly appreciated.

what info are ya looking for? the box will be useless and there is no software or firmware for the box, the firmware is closed source so you cant open it nor mess about with it, think its time folk realized that there is no way about N3 using cable boxs anymore and start looking at alternative's such as sat etc

Understand there is no fix but will the box be able to get just normal channels like bbc like a freeview I have no aerial so was just looking into that option.

if you are in the Uk you will get the FTA channels if in ireland you will only get Rte 1 and a few others not rte2 or tv 3 ect

But if you plug straight into back of tv after unplugging from box you get about 16 channels including Rte's etc.
In Ireland that is.

as far as i know the files for sv6 where out the other day . and should be working ok in ireland (upc) also heard that there are a few pay servers working already on dreamboxs for upc.(thou have not seen any. as can't say too many will have the so called rsa keys we need unless there traders and bought them.)
they should also work the same way when n3 is fully working in the uk.
so maybe that was the new box that people are taklking about.????

oh and have you not noticed that sv6 also works as a c/s server which gives you the channles from there server when you buy a box .???

Im not gonna give away the whole game as how it works.
N3 is an encryption on channels from cable.
C/S is a whole differnet ball game and has nothing to do with cable.
Even before N3 was cracked, C/S was an option.
EDIT: SORRY! N3 CAN ALSO BE USED FOR SATELLITE ENCRYPTION BUT IN IRELAND IT IS USED FOR CABLE ENCRYPTION.

it dont take a genius to read its all over the forum here N3 no fix n3 not hacked n3 not cracked how many times do you have to see it
and c/s is not a hack for n3 its an internet card sharing system that allows others to see the channels from a subbed card's and without an internet connection what do you get with the Sv6 FTA channels only unlike a file been put on the box and how long will the people hosting the service last ?? if the server goes down how many cut off ?? so its not in the least cracked and prob never will be
I myself have not seen this working anywhere at the present time so i cannot comment on how or what way they are doing it other than to say its a connection to the outside ww network

n3 wont be hacked cracked like the n1 / n2 was thats what ya call a crack or hack.
what you are talking about is totally different thats a networking card sharing ring or what ever ya like to call it with no come back once ya part with your money

First of all there is no such things as "c/s on n3"
Card Sharing and Nagra 3 are two completely different things!!!
Also no one is saying it won't be done, e45 is just saying that n3 is alot harder to crack that n1/n2, thats why n3 was rolled out.
You are right though that many c/s servers are scams but the old saying rings out:
"let the buyer beware"
