hi,a mate i work with lives in hull and is internet provider is kingston communications ,would the kryptview 780 box work with this provider?

im missing a handful of channels. rte 2, bbc3&4, itv3&4, biography and few music and a couple more (adult!. most available fta. 1. to do another autoscan - should i factory reset first? 2. if so, do i need to reflash. 3. what OAM should i be on for autoscan? 4. is there a way of doing a manual search for these, and if so can someone point me in the right direction, and where would i get the "Mux channel", should nit be "off", and what OAM should i get on? 5. if this is a server issue, when would you guess the server will give us all our channels ?! tks a mil

ok calm down
it is a server issue at the moment, and extra channels gone could be a sign of them fixing it, but here is some answers for questions
1. no
1,a. no but always factory reset is done before & after downloading new firmware
2. no unless you are downloading a new file
3. 64
4. yes instillations manual search also nit not sure about that myself/and what is mux channel
5. yes server issue

sorry i didnt mean to appear less than calm, im not too bothered, but with the world cup approachin id like to have me ret2 back in action! mux channel is in the manual search area, i think its the channel frequency ?- i have tried a manual search without connection to net to see if i could just get the basic rte2 but nothing happening, so probably need the server to be back in action to get this channel. when this happens, will we need to re-autoscan to get them in or will they appear "unscrambled" without need to rescan? cheers again !

only taking the piss about the calm down bit
but i say them channels will unscramble by themselfs when server is fixed
but if any different you will hear it here from somebody
also net.2 you should be able to get in with your sub on your tv

no more files or fixes for any old starviews,eurovox,ect...
Boxes working in uk are starview combo, starview.6, kryptview a780, and the kryptview a750+i-connect

The only BIN you will be getting for your box is the big green recycle bin as that is where all these boxes are going to end up.

Hi There Lads/Lasses,
Please can someone help me??
I am in the north-east of England, and was running a Replay lite box through a N*L line... that has gone apparently nagra3???
I have moved house and I am setting up with a V*rgin Media Broadband line through my phone line, is there anything that you can suggest.
Can I run a Starview 6 box off this set-up? and do they work in the UK?
How does this set-up work, costs etc.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

there are 3 boxes working in the uk 1 is the kryptview 780 the other is the starview 6 lan and the duel starview combo which does cable and sat the choice is yours have a read thru some of the posts and then make your mind up

hi i live in west yorkshire i got sv6 about 4 weeks ago i got it all connected up the programes came on for 1 day i havnt been able to get them on again mines connected to virgin i just think theyve rescrambled them i wish i hadnt bought it ive dissconected it and put virgin box back on i get more channels on that

have you tried doing a rescan and reflash with the latest file carling and follow the instructions to exact
also how many channels were you getting, as there were problems a few weeks ago with boxes/server

any broadband will work as long as you have your box set up correctly
