Make sure you have box flashed successfully. In menu check firmware version is 1.03.
Then do as E45 said; auto-scan on 6952 sym.rate

MENU--UTILITY--SYSTEM INFORMATION; Is Carling 1.03 firmware shown on list here, YES or NO.
If not flash box with 1.03 firmware
Make sure co-axial TV cable is connected to correct connection on SV 7, cable-in I think.
Scan using sym.rate 6952, QAM-64, if not scan 6887 sym. rate QAM 64

If your co-axial TV Provider cable definitely has a live feed coming thru, then it sounds like
a faulty box. Do you have an old cable box or PROV box to connect to co-axial TV cable. Check
for channels on one of these boxes to make sure you have Prov. signal

That will do fine, make sure co-axial is in right connection. Channels 1 to 5 should have a
picture BBC1,2,ITV1 etc. If not do auto-scan for channels.

That's why I told chap to try a scan. If box scans in channs. he has Prov. signal.
If you have time E would you look at Darky's thread"Is SV6 dead E45", I'd say you or Fintanni
would be able to sort his router problem

What exactly have you done by following "flash menu"
Have you installed Carling 1.03 firmware using USB-stick
Have you connected LAN-cable from router to STVU 7 adaptor
Have you selected U-stream in network menu on box
Is IP set-up set to auto-connect.
Are auto-updates turned ON in emulator
