Starview Super USB Lost channels

I have lost many channels and been looking at the forum to see what to do. Followed the ins that are there for getting them back but cant get back the channels ive lost. Done the Fac reset then installation then 1570 then exit but no new channels. On my booklet ins it says ( Please be reminded do not d/load anything on the box if you d/load anything on the box and the 8882error comes up we will not be responsible and will not take returns)Can you help me with this problem Thank you.

Where u based? Which area? Did you check the provider site for an issues in your area?

When i try to scan in on N*L which is my provider it only gives me about 20 channels when i do it on N*W which is the other one available it will give me more but there are a lot missing about 30 channels i get some Sky sports but most have gone now and lots of other ones i used to have.

factory reset and then scan each time you change provider, do this first before flashing anything, remove any splitters on your line and also you still didnt answer the question did you check your provider site for outages in your area.

How do i check the outages, i have no splitters i just gradually lost programs each time i turned it on. Thanks

go to the virgin page and go to the service page or just google Virgin service page and go to daily update

Have done a factory reset then scan but every time it seems to lose more channels Sky Sports Moie channels etc.Thanks

yes turn the EMU or Keycode to on and then exit out to a chan and let it update

Thought id share a little advice.
Ive found with the Super USB II its a simple factory setting, rescan etc and job done.
With the Super USB (the one in question), after ive done a reset, rescan, it still dont work even after the Keycode is switched on. Its simply fixed by reset to factory settings, rescan, RE-INSTALL the software and switch keycode on and its back!!
Thats happened on every SuperUSB ive had to re-do...

Look in MICHAH sig at the bottom of his posts, you'll see the library there. Your looking for the V1.12 for theBox Super USB. Download the logo file aswell. Give that a go and let us know...

Have D/load the V1 12 file onto my Computer. Do i upload it into the box via a USB connection, sorry to be a pain but i need guiding most of the way. Thanks

Yes drag it over to a USB dongle, stick the dongle in the back of your Starview and away you go.
Remember to try it this way.
1.Factory Settings
2.Press English when prompted
3.Make sure your USB is in and go to the USB section in the main menu
4.Install fresh software and let it restart.(v1.12 & Logo file to be safe)
5.Do a Scan
5.Switch Keycode ON.
That should work for you providing your area hasnt switched to Nagra3 already.
****Sometimes when factory setting these Super USB Boxes they revert back to the 2008 software 1.07 - thats whats happen to all of the dozen of mine ive done for people.*****

Thanks very much, just followed those instructions and I'm back up and running in Central Scotland :-) For the time being anyway!!

I have bought a memory stick and have D/loaded the V1.12 file onto it. How do i get it onto my box and will it give me instructions what do i look for. Thanks
