I am on N*l MMDS. Which is the correct firmware? I've tried the one in your link but nothing happens. Thats the one that just freezes at 100%.

hooter that file is not the firmware fix that you have linked to? The latest fix was in Eamos from the time of release.
This file you have linked may brick a working SV4. Even the working Beta fix will kill a clone SV4.
scouser that is the file from my own box that i have from x.massits the file you get when you insert your usb stick in your box it is the ch data back up file
the new fix leaves out some chanells which i already have, as i said to people, and it will only work in 'ireland' maybe i should have said it will prob only help people in dublin area on n*l who are missing some chanells
sorry.
also there is 24 downloads from it so far and no one has complained or said it messed up there box.

Here is the firmware The Box Super USB Beta
Upload to your SV4 via your mem stick. Flash box. Box will reboot after flash. After it reboots carry out a factory reset. Box will reboot again. Now go through installation procedure.
After scan completes. Press menu, type 1570 on remote and turn keycode on. Exit out to Sly Sports and let it update.

Thats only a channel data file and will only contain your channel data. 24 uploads and not a complaint your lucky ;) The firmware will contain much more than just channel data ;)

What does it say in system info please? Are you sure your powerinserter is plugged in? Where are you an approximate location will do just to double check your provider.

well ive put the beta software on a couple of my mates boxes that are just bran

There are no missing channels.
ive put the beta on a few of my mates boxes wich are brand new and they were missing adult and 2 other chanells but on my box and my next door neighbour's we have our box since x.mass so we already had the adult ch so when i put the new firmware on mine i did not have to do a scan as the ch were already there
if you have your box before they went off around x.mass you already had all the chanells
but the new fix on a new box did'nt give the adult ch

There was a PID change on the adult channels as well as a shift from the 1800 stream to 1801. The Beta firmware has sorted all this for now. If you do a factory reset and rescan with the Beta firmware you will get all channels. It even works without a rescan but is not recommended to do so.

Just heard about Wacko Jacko, I can still watch the 'normal' channels through the n*l box.
Just went to check it RTE is coming in and it's not actually on the list of channels. We lost the RTEs months ago when all the other channels were working fine, were never too bothered cos it was only RTE!
