You're gonna need to split it like MGS: Substance and Xenosaga. Not sure how this will affect gameplay, but unless you have a dual layer dvd writer then it's the only way I've read of doing it.

Split the game or take some movies out, either way it is a bitch to acccomplish. Here is the link where someone posted a guide to splitting MGS: Substance

I did the original Madden 2005(not special edition) also and it works like a charm(v7 PS2, swap magic, and verbatim discs) works unbelievable like original.

Are you using Swap Disc w/ the flip top cover trick or the no-sod mod chip?

I have a PS2 ver 5 w/ the no-sod mod chip and have trouble loading Madden 05 w/ Swap Disc or Game Shark method. Is there a newer version of Swap Disk available? I have Swap Disc CD ver 2.0 and DVD ver 2.0. I know that 3.2 is out for loading CD based games, but that won't help w/ DVD's, correct? I will investigate the better/alternative media route, but typically have no probs in this area (200 plus quality burns).
