I 110% agree with the author here. As soon as I saw the resolution of the 'R, I said "828p? Well, that makes the decision for me." I won't accept anything less than 1080p these days. Are they crazy? $750!?!? I currently own the 6S Plus from 3 years ago and it has a much better display. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

Oh, and another thing that might surprise some people. It looks like the zoom is better on the 8 Plus than the XS. Compare f-stop. Again, correct me if I'm wrong!

For those of us that didn't drink the cool-aid this just sounds like normal Apple behavior...charging way too much for crummy tech is the Apple way. Sure, usually the tech is crummy because of the lack of control and build quality as opposed to the actual technical specifications, but crummy is crummy.

I am sure it will sell just fine. It's an Apple product.
