so i finally got my chip to flash...i flashed m7 at 512 to bank 1. Do i have to flash it to bank 2 also?
i also noticed that when the startup screen comes up with the big green X it still says microsoft underneath it where as my friends says xecuter2. should mine say xecuter2 now or after i install evox? when i tried to install evox i got a disc read error..any suggestions?

I Have xecture 2 and it olny shows the xecture2 sign instead of microsft when i keep in the start button for 1 second.

The xecuter 2 sign should replace the microsoft logo under the X and you shouldnt need to hold start.

I have just been told that mine Xbox does this because it is a Aladin Advanced 64 which have been flased with Xecuter2 bios or something like that :)

To clear things up...since you used an Evox bios, it will not say xecuter under the X logo...go figure. Only if you use Xecuter bios does it say that. Now as for you read problem, it may be that you are using a brand of CD your xbox doesnt like. Or you may be burning the image wrong.
