Hi,

Just use Nero to burn the VIDEO_TS folder (yes, the folder and not just the contents) to a blank disc :)

Open Nero Burning ROM and in the "New Compilation" window choose "DVD" from the drop down at the top left then select the "DVD-Video" option from the column on the left. Now click the "New" button at the top right.

When the new window opens, find your VIDEO_TS folder through the file browser on the right, drag it over to the VIDEO_TS icon on the left and you should be set to burn :)

Yea ... what Nephilim said :)

And here's a guide for those visual people.

If you've got Shrink and Nero, why don't you "Enable burning with Nero" in Shrink?

I have burning enabled with Nero.
when I add my VIDEO_TS folder that contains all the VOP,IFO,AND VUB files I get a warning box that says: you have added DVD video content to a compilation type that will not result in a DVD compliant disc. to create discs playable in standalone DVD video players please use the DVD video compilation type.
I don't understand why I have no problems burning one disc to another, but to burn files to disc is just baffling me!
thank you!

Then you don't need to load any files :)

When you click "backup!" ... change the target destination to your burner.

i just tried that player and it does the same thing: i select the dvd folder, it inserts all the VOB files and when i play them there is a blank screen and there is extremely choppy audio. do you think my files are currupted? I used my xbox to rip the dvd to hdd.

Huh?? I've never tried. You know you can get a very good dvd-rom for $30.

I was hoping I wouldnt have to install a dvd-decrypter, and simply use my xbox to rip my dvds to hard disk, as I have successfully done in the past with all my xbox games (which of course are dvds also). Apperantly my xbox isnt ripping the files correctly. Which decrypter would you recommend I try? I have an irritating feeling its my ati 9000 (integrated). One thing i should note is that my laptop plays dvds perfectly when read from my dvd drive.

Hi,

DVD Decrypter should suit your purposes nicely :)
