1. i do not have a chip installed in my xbox what can i do with it?

2. can i play roms by saving them to the hdd (n64 roms) without a chip


please answer these along with links or a guide on how to do it if it is possible and please make the guide easy for me to understand.

Thought Id reply Seeing as Im a Noob and have just signed up,

You cant do anything without a Mod chip as your xbox will not allow you to run unsigned M$ code and you will have no way to FTP files to your Xbox.

Im sure I herd of a way to get your Xbox to do everything you could dream of, ie. Install Linux without a mod chip. But it sounds way difficult and risky.

Just get a Xenium ICE Solderless adapter for like £40 and use IRC (http://www.xbins.org/) to get all the Dashboards, Bioses and tools you need. Its quite easy to fit IMO.
