does anyone know what this is I Keep gettinganerror message that says my disc wont fit and I need a dvd-9 compatable recorder.

Also does anyone know why when on nero you try to record a movie that is 4.5gb nero tells you it wont fit onto a 4.7 disk?

Hi mindyjohn, The 4.7 gig listed on blank media is misleading. Actual capacity of blank media is 4.36 gig. So you have to shrink that 4.5 gig you have down to about 4.3 gig so it will fit. The manufacturers of blank media calculate free space a different way. Thats why they say 4.7 gig. Hope this helps.
