Just bought some Kodak DVD media and just wondering if anyone knows anything about this brand?

ADVDinfo did not work, but SmartBurn came up with this;

Drive Type = DVD+R/+RW
Disc Type = DVD+R (Single Layer)
Disc MID = 4D 45 44 49 41 20 49 44 (MEDIA ID)
Disc TID = 30 30 31 (001)
Nominal Capacity = 4.38GB
Manufacturer Maybe = Unknown
SMART-BURN Speed Limit = 4.0X (Write)

Says KMP Media is manufacturer on Kodak package. Could not find any reference for either one.

Neat little app, thanks. Though in this case did not show manufacturer.

Anyone use this brand? Either Kodak or KMP DVD? Should be fairly common in Canada as on sale at Future Shop recently....

No manufacturer ID is a bit unsettling. If you happen to run into problems with playback try burning them slower :)
